About Me

Currently seeking an agent to represent my work. I have one manuscript that is complete at roughly 300 words and is educational fiction, or non-fiction with a narrative wrap. I have a middle grade humor in progress that I am hoping to turn into a graphic novel in the hands of a skilled graphic artist/illustrator.

I have multiple manuscripts for picturebooks in the works!

I graduated from Smith College in 2001 with a BA in Education and Child Study, minor in Spanish. I received my M.Ed. in Elementary Education with a concentration in Educational Technology in 2003. I am currently enrolled in the MFA program at Simmons University with an anticipated degree in Children's Literature in January 2023.

I work in Western Massachusetts at a child care center where I teach infants aged 8 weeks to 15 months. I have been teaching at the early childhood level for over 20 years.

In my spare time I do laundry, dishes, and feed the numerous mouths in my home (*wink*).

I also love to hike, read, nap, drink coffee, garden, wander around bookstores and libraries, practice yoga, and take my three dogs and two children on adventures to new places.
